Sex and Sustainability Film Screening

Bioethics Forum NYU is co-sponsoring a special event hosted by the Global Population and Environment Program at the Sierra Club, in partnership with WEST (Women of Excellence, Strength and Tenacity) at NYU and The Izaak Walton League of America. See attached flyer for more information!

Thursday, February 23rd @7:30 PM
Global Center for Academic and Spiritual Life (Building Next to Kimmel), Room 383
238 Thompson Street, NYU

Free popcorn and snacks!

The Sierra Club works to ensure access to reproductive health and rights, voluntary family planning, education and economic opportunities for women and girls, and explore the links between health, gender, climate, and the environment.

The event is a free film screening and panel discussion on February 23rd featuring experienced speakers, and is completely relevant to topics discussed in bioethics topics. With the world's population hitting 7 billion in October, contraceptive coverage and availability under attack in the United States, and the United Nations Earth Summit coming up in June, it's a great time to be discussing sustainable development and the environment as they relate to women, family planning, and climate change.
