Post-doctoral research assistant in Imaging Neuroscience
The
Centre for Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging of the Brain seeks a post
doctoral scientist to carry out research in imaging of neurodegenerative
disorders using in vivo and ex vivo MRI imaging. The project is a collaboration
between Imperial College London and the FMRIB centre. The successful candidate
will be working under supervision of Dr. Mojtaba Zarei and Prof. Paul Matthews.
S/he will be liaising between two Centres for data acquisition and analysis. The
post is funded by the Department of Health. The successful candidate should
have a PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline with experience in MRI data
acquisition and analysis. An excellent academic track record, together with a
good understanding of MRI physics, as well as programming skills are desirable.
The post is available immediately until 31st October 2009, with the
possibility of extension, subject to funding availability. For an outline of
