IEA Bioenergy Task 42 - Biorefining in a Future Bioeconomy

Wednesday 25th May 2016

Bioenergy Australia is pleased to announce the next webinar in our 2016 webinar program - an update on Task 42 and an insight into biobased chemicals from our invited guest speaker  - Ed de Jong from Avantium in the Netherlands.

This May webinar will also double up as a brief meeting of the Task 42 Participation Group for those wishing to take part in a wider discussion and also offer suggestions about areas or topics of focus for the Group in the year ahead.   Webinar details are below. Attendance at this event is free but registration is essential in order to ensure connection to the webinar on the day.

In this Task 42 webinar we welcome our Guest Speakers Geoff Bell (Australia's National Team Leader for Task 42 and CEO at Microbiogen) and we also welcome Ed de Jong  (Co-Chair for Task 42 and also VP Development at Avantium in the Netherlands. We look forward to an update on Australia’s activities in IEA Bioenergy Task 42 and we are pleased to be able to welcome Ed and hear more about his take on the benefits of being involved in Task 42 activities and how Avantium is going from strength to strength.
