A postdoctoral position is available at Wake Forest University School
of Medicine, Sticht Center on Aging. Our Center houses an
interdisciplinary group of researchers working to translate our
discoveries into valuable clinical interventions.
The laboratory of Dr. Anthony J. A. Molina examines the role of
mitochondrial bioenergetics in the aging process and is particularly
interested in physical disability, sarcopenia, and diabetes. These
studies integrate detailed clinical measurements with comprehensive
analysis of mitochondrial function.
Applicants should be highly motivated and well versed in molecular
biology. Experience in cellular and mitochondrial respirometry is
highly desirable.
This position will provide excellent training in translational
research and is suitable for qualified individuals on a variety of
career paths.
