Greetings friends, fans and patrons!

I hope this finds you well during these interesting and alarming times.
Fred and I are fine - overwhelmed by projects, as usual - lately it's been NatureMatch.

I’m very excited about NatureMatch, the game of matching cards (in the tradition of “Concentration”) that I've designed with 36  watercolours from my illustrated nature journals. It has been doing very well in our fundraising campaign - we’re thrilled with the positive response we’ve been getting! Here’s our grandson Sam with the prototype - he’s been asking when he can have his own game to play :)

We will be shipping the standard edition out to backers in October or early November, in good time for Christmas, but I’ll make sure that Sam will receive one of the 20 limited edition games that’s in production now.

With its tile-like cards, smooth, sturdy, and round-cornered, playing NatureMatch is a tactile as well as a visual experience. It has a special educational aspect beyond simply being a lovely matching card game. Each image of bird, mammal, amphibian, fish, or insect has a number in the bottom right hand corner of the card, which corresponds to its name and description in the companion booklet. In the "Meet the Cards" page of this website, www.naturematch.ca/ you can find all the information in the booklet, and more!

Even if you’ve already seen this on FaceBook or in some another e-mail or post, please let me know what you think!

Please forward this to your friends so we can ramp up our exposure. Contributions are coming in thick and fast, and we’ve just overshot our $5,000 goal- but in this case More is Better, as we’ll be able to reduce production costs with a larger print-run, and NatureMatch will be available far and wide!

All the Best,
Aleta
