Introducing  “NatureMatch”  the game you can play with my watercolours! 

I’m very excited about the new matching-card game I’ve designed, with 36 watercolours from my illustrated nature journals, in the age-old tradition of “Concentration". Here’s our grandson Sam with the prototype - he’s been asking *when* he can have his *own* game to play :)

We will be shipping the standard edition out to backers in October or early November, in good time for Christmas, but I’ll make sure that Sam will receive one of the 20 pre-release, limited edition games that’s in production now.

NatureMatch has 72 tile-like cards which are smooth, sturdy, and round-cornered - so playing the game is a tactile as well as a visual experience. The informative booklet gives it a special educational aspect beyond simply being a lovely matching card game. Each image of bird, mammal, amphibian, fish, or insect has a number in the bottom right hand corner of the card, which corresponds to its name and description in the companion booklet. The Indiegogo NatureMatch fundraiser has exceeded our $5,000 goal in just over a week, and is steadily gaining! The more backers we get, the larger October’s print run can be. The further we'll be able to reduce production costs, the more widely the game will be available.
