Here are a few practical informations...
1. The pdfs of the kick-off meeting presentations and report are now
available in the "output" section of the website. (Sorry for the
delay, our IT colleague was on sick leave!)
2. Work package leaders (WP1 and WP2) will prepare discussion papers
during the summertime that will be discussed with the group after the
holidays. Meanwhile, don't hesitate to send the pdfs of articles that
might be relevant for the drafting of these papers (see point 3).
3. We now have a private section on the website where we can share
pdfs of relevant articles. The login and password to access this
section will be sent to you by personnal email. If you wish to share
scientific papers with the other forum participants, don't hesitate to
send pdfs (or references + DOI) to me!
Note that a sub-section has been created in order to gather studies
with a focus on Belgium of particular interest to the current project.
4. As you probably noticed, the "resource" section of the website
refers to Belgian experts and Belgian projects. To provide this
information, we made a link to BioBel, the database developed by the
Belgian Biodiversity Platform on expertise and resources available in
Belgium in the field of biodiversity. If you don't see your name
(which will probably be the case for most of you!) and/or your
projects in the list and you want them to appear in this section,
please contact me or visit BioBel website
(http://biobel.biodiversity.be) and update your data online (making
sure you add "climate change" to your expertise!). If you need any
assistance for updating your data in BioBel, don't hesitate to contact
me, I would be glad to help you! If you wish, I can also make a
presentation of BioBel for your whole lab or provide individual
tutorial.
5. I will not be available until the end of July. During this period,
if you need any assistance regarding IT issues (pdfs posting,
BioBel,...) please contact André Heughebaert (aheu...@ulb.ac.be). For
any information regarding the work packages, please contact the WP
leaders.
I thank you very much for your collaboration!
Erika BAUS.
