A new development release of Biodiverse is now available.  This is the
second instalment in the 2.99 series, heading towards a version 3
release.

You can access it through
https://github.com/shawnlaffan/biodiverse/wiki/Downloads

Releases are available for Windows and Mac at this time.  A Linux
release can be made if one is needed.

The main highlight is that you can now decrease the resolution of the
selected BaseData object.  The process is explained in more detail in
this blog post:
https://biodiverse-analysis-software.blogspot.com/2019/04/reduce-spatial-resolution-of-your-data.html

The polygon and polyline shapefile imports announced in 2.99_001 are
also now substantially faster.

Please give it a test run and report any errors or suggest any
improvements.  You can use this email list or the project issue tracker
at https://github.com/shawnlaffan/biodiverse/issues

More details and links relating to the new developments for version 3
can be accessed at

Regards,
Shawn.
