GDAL error

Hi everybody, 

I'm learning to use Biodiverse, and I have this error message that comes up when I try to download a shapefile. 

somebody has an idea of what I can do?

Hello Claire,

This looks like a bug in the way the Mac builds are packed.  It is one of those unfortunate bugs that works locally but not on other systems. 

I'll run a new build on Friday.

Which version are you using?

I've now packed a new version of 4.3 for Macs with an ARM chip.  Can people please test it can import from shapefiles?

If that works then I will also update the Mac Intel distribution. 


One thing I noted in my testing is that the application will not work from the finder if its name is changed.  e.g. it needs to be installed as "Biodiverse.app", overwriting any existing installation.  It is possible to have side-by-side versions installed but the later ones can only be run from the command line, not by double clicking on them.
