Incorrect Detections for Elephantisland2014

Good day,

I would just like to point out that there are incorrect detections in the elephantisland2014.csv detections file. Specifically, all 5 detections for file 2014-10-05T02-00-00_000.wav are outside the timeframe covered by the recording.

I suspect it's because the detections are an hour later than they are supposed to be because they each start at 2014-10-05T03-00-00. However, since there is a separate recording file for that timeframe, I cannot be sure this is the case.

First of all, we take the opportunity of this message to remind everybody that our BioDCASE development set corresponds to the libary released within the ATBFL project completed in 2021. Further development and maintenance of the library by its creators is neither planned nor funded. However, the dataset is open access, and community support and development are welcomed and encouraged.

So thanks again for helping us improving this library. We also remind everybody that our BioDCASE evaluation set has gone further thorough quality check procedures on both format inconsistencies and annotation mistakes

Concerning the error you spotted, we confirm that you should change the filenames of these 5 detections from "2014-10-05T02-00-00_000.wav" to "2014-10-05T03-00-00_000.wav".

We have been further searching for other such inconsistencies, and found a few others that are bad by a couple of milliseconds. We have added a note on this on the website and released the list of badly-formatted detections (should appear very soon)

At the end of the challenge we will update the Zenodo version of the corpus
