A wonderful session on PCa awareness

Last night, we had a wonderful session on PCa awareness by our distinguished Urologist Devendra Sharma of CK Birla hospitals. The session was moderated by Soham Biswas, RamdasPai PhD fellow, Systems Genomics Group, Manipal University Jaipur wherein Devendra described and about early detection of PCa and provided insights into clinical perspectives. 

This was organized through Bioclues' the CA Prostate Consortium of India ( CAPCI) that was started in 2016. The discussions were led by CAPCI Adviser, viz. NK Lohiya, Professor and Emeritus Medical Scientist,

Take home: if you are male and in early 40s, get PSA screening done. Importantly, if there is a family history of cancer, please ensure you get tests done through your Doctor. Most importantly, honor healthy lifestyle commitments.
