An ode to computational biology lost. I am sorry for the loss. Just learnt this. I  had  wonderful memories of exchanging mails with him. An inspiration all through, may his soul rest in eternal peace. 

As an EiC of PloS Computational Biology, the rejection emails from the journal is so encouraging that we would cherish those mails from his office and move forward improving the manuscripts. He always encouraged "Ten simple rules .." series of articles.

A sad day for computational biologists!
