We are pleased to inform you that admissions are now open for the following postgraduate programs at the Department of Bioinformatics, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal:

1. M.Sc. Bioinformatics (2 years)
Eligibility: B.Sc. (Honours/Majors, 140 Credit Points) or B.Tech. in Biological disciplines (Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Food Science, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Pharmacy, Zoology, Botany, Physiology, etc.), or in allied fields such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, IT, AI, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Biomedical Engineering, BCA/MCA, B.Pharm., etc.

2. M.Tech. Bioinformatics (2 years)
Eligibility: M.Sc. or B.Tech. in Biological disciplines (Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Agriculture, Food & Nutrition, etc.) or in allied disciplines including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, CSE, IT, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, MCA, B.Pharm., etc.

At MAKAUT, our Department of Bioinformatics offers a unique blend of industry-oriented curriculum and internationally recognized faculty expertise. Students are trained in both Bioinformatics and Data Science, equipping them with essential skills to pursue careers in industry, research, and academia.
