We are writing to invite you and your colleagues/students to an upcoming hands-on workshop on RNA Sequencing, hosted here at TISC, IIT Jodhpur.

We are excited to invite you to a two-day Hands-On Workshop on RNA Sequencing and Data Analysis, organized by the IIT Jodhpur Technology Innovation and Start-up Center (TISC) in collaboration with IIT Jodhpur and New England Biolabs (NEB) India.

This intensive workshop is designed for students, researchers, technical staff, and faculty seeking practical, end-to-end insights into the RNA-Seq workflow. Participants will gain the skills to prepare samples, understand sequencing processes, validate data quality, and perform preliminary data analysis.

Workshop Highlights:

• Dates: September 19-20, 2025

• Venue: TISC, IIT Jodhpur

• Topics Covered:

• Designing effective RNA-Seq experiments

• Isolation of high-quality RNA

• Preparation of RNA libraries

• Guided orientation to high-throughput sequencing platforms

• Complete RNA sequencing workflow

• Demonstration of a standard RNA-Seq analysis workflow

• Performing preliminary data analysis
