Let's Stop Cervical Cancer !
Whether you are a parent, youth, educator, healthcare professional, or community advocate, we invite you to join this important global conversation and help advocate for cervical cancer awareness and prevention.

One Goal - Cervical Cancer Free Future
Three Strategies - a. Vaccination (Right Dose at Right Age), b. Screening (Right Test at Right Time) and c. Treatment (women with pre-cancer must be treated and women with invasive cancer should be managed).

Why Cervical Cancer?
Human papillomavirus (HPV) infection is the primary cause of cervical cancer. If left untreated, the virus can lead to abnormal cell growth on the cervix, potentially progressing to cancer.

Every 2 minutes a woman dies of cervical cancer. We can prevent these deaths, and reach the goal of eliminating cervical cancer by using the following 3 key strategies:

To eliminate cervical cancer, all countries must reach and maintain an incidence rate of below 4 per 100 000 women. Achieving that goal rests on three key strategies and their corresponding targets:
(i) vaccination: 90% of girls fully vaccinated with the HPV vaccine by the age of 15;
(ii) screening: 70% of women screened using a high-performance test by the age of 35, and again by the age of 45;
(iii) treatment: 90% of women with pre-cancer treated and 90% of women with invasive cancer managed.

The Path to Cervical Cancer Elimination:
Each country should meet the 90–70–90 targets by 2030 to get on the path to eliminate cervical cancer within the next century.

Together, we can make a difference !
Aabir Bio-Services Foundation encourages students, researchers, scientists, medical practitioners and people across the nation to connect with us as a volunteer, philanthropist or as an advocate.
