I am pleased to announce the availability of a Postdoctoral Fellow position in my research group at the Department of Biotechnology, Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (KITS), Coimbatore, India.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in the following research areas:

  • Plant and Millet Gene Editing (CRISPR/Cas Technologies)
  • Millet Biotechnology
  • Plant Nutrient Genomics and Mineral Biofortification
  • Functional Genomics and Genome Engineering
  • Crop Improvement for Sustainable Agriculture

Essential Qualifications:

  • M.Sc. or M.Tech. and Ph.D. in Biosciences (Biotechnology, Plant Biotechnology, Botany, Genetics, Genomics, Molecular Biology, Plant Sciences, Life Sciences, or related disciplines)
  • Good publication record
