Exploring article-level impact

F1000Prime has partnered with PLOS (Public Library of Science) to provide enhanced information to researchers on the impact of their published articles. 'F1000Prime recommended' badges and scores have been added to all PLOS journal articles that have been selected for inclusion in F1000Prime - more than 3,000 articles.
Adding the F1000Prime Faculty's scores to PLOS's article-level metrics gives authors of important articles more relevant information on the impact of individual articles than the Journal Impact Factor, and will help guide readers to expert commentaries on important papers. Faculty of 1000 encourages other publishers and institutional repositories interested in using and displaying F1000Prime scores to contact us.
