We would like to invite you to attend the 2026 Human Cell Atlas General Meeting in Boston, USA, to begin our 10th anniversary celebrations.
Co-chaired by Alexandra-Chloé Villani and Jose Ordovas-Montanes, the 2026 General Meeting will dedicate plenary and breakout sessions to Atlas expansion. This includes creating a cross-tissue 3D reference Atlas with spatial resolution that is geographically and genetically representative, and clinically applicable. Since this meeting will take place in the heart of Boston’s medical and research hub, it will focus heavily on global and medical health impact, emphasizing how researchers and clinicians can leverage AI to better help and benefit all of humanity.
The first two days of the meeting (16 - 17 June) will take place at the Joseph B. Martin Conference Center at Harvard Medical School, and will be dedicated to larger plenary sessions and breakout meetings. Day 3 (18 June) will be devoted to smaller working group style meetings and will take place at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, located across the Charles River, in Cambridge, MA.
Registration fees are waived for researchers currently living in low- and middle-income countries (as defined by the World Bank). Travel stipend applications are due Friday, 13 February 2026. Applicants will be notified in the weeks to follow if they have been selected to receive a stipend.
Please note that HCA is unable to offer discounted registration fees to other attendees, including session leaders, speakers, and poster presenters.
Confirmed speakers and the framework agenda will be available early in the new year. Please visit our event website or email meet...@humancellatlas.org for more information on the 2026 HCA General Meeting.
We hope to see you in Boston or virtually for this milestone event.
Very best,
