Dear Collaborators,

The Department of Health Metrics Sciences at the University of Washington and the Institute for Health Metrics & Evaluation seeks a full-time Assistant Professor or an Acting Assistant Professor to work with the Future Health Scenarios (FHS) team.

The FHS team is an integral component of IHME's modeling portfolio, forecasting the future global burden of disease and producing custom scenarios that measure the health gains achieved by reducing exposure to known risk factors or scaling up new interventions.

These positions involve leading the development of methodologies to improve the forecasting models across all measures produced under the framework, drive analytic problem solving, review results, and manage research staff involved in the production of the forecast.

Both positions require an MD, PhD, or equivalent, with a strong background in quantitative research, including applied mathematics or statistical modeling using large data sets. This position is based in Seattle, WA and is eligible for visa sponsorship. To learn more, please visit IHME's faculty careers page. We encourage interested Collaborators to apply and to share this opportunity further within your networks.

Best regards,
