Greetings from UAE Microbiome 2023!

 

We are pleased to inform you about the international conference on MICROBIOME: HUMAN, PLANT AND ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH - applications and challenges, which will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on November 21-22, 2023. The UAE Microbiome 2023 is set to become one of the most prominent global gatherings in the field of microbiome, held in the Middle East. With a focus on frontier research, this meeting boasts a strong scientific and technical program that will explore the microbiome's role in human, plant, and environmental health. UAE Microbiome 2023 will feature both invited and contributed presentations. Conference participants are invited to submit an abstract for oral and poster presentations. Areas of interest are included in the conference website but they are mainly human-, animal-, plant-, and environmental-microbiome.

 

Important dates:
Abstract submission starts             : June 1, 2023

Abstract submission closes             : August 21, 2023

Abstract acceptance date                : September 25, 2023

Early-bird Registration ends                      : October 9, 2023

Late Registration ends                        : November 6, 2023

Organizers:

The Conference is jointly hosted by the Khalifa Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (KGCEB), the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) and The Department of Biology (UAEU).

 

Awards:

A limited number of travel awards are offered for students (undergraduate, master and PhD) from all over the world and for scientists (postdoc, instructor, faculties, and PI) who are working in lower- or lower-middle-income countries.
