I am pleased to provide you with updates on various activities of our Society-ISSRF as under:

 1.      ISSRF-2025: I am delighted to share with you that the International Conference on Reproductive Biomedicine: Integrating Basic Biological and Applied Research into Clinical Practice for Human Welfare and 35th Annual Meeting of the Indian Society for the Study of Reproduction and Fertility (ISSRF-2025), held during 14th-16th February, 2025 at RIC, Jaipur organized by Dr. Sudipti Arora, Research Scientist & Assistant Director, Dr. B. Lal Institute of Biotechnology, Jaipur, was a grand success. A brief Report of the event will be soon provided and will also be uploaded on the Society website (www.issrf.org).

2.      ISSRF Newsletter (ISSN 2395-2806):  The 33rd issue of the ISSRF Newsletter entitled, Epigenetic Mechanisms in Reproductive Biology, edited by Dr. Samir Kumar Patra (skpat...@yahoo.com), Professor, Department of Life Science, National Institute of Technology Rourkela, Rourkela along with Prof. (Dr.) P. K. Mishra, NIREH, Bhopal and Dr. Rupesh K. Srivastava, AIIMS, New Delhi,  was released during the ISSRF-2025 and uploaded on the Society website.

Dr. Gyanendra Singh (gyan...@gmail.com), ICMR - National Institute of Occupational Health, Ahmedabad will be the Lead Editor for 34th Issue of the ISSRF Newsletter on theme Deciphering the Intricate Relationship Between Genes, Environment and Climate Change as it relates to reproductive health and the likelihood of developing future diseases. You are requested to submit your manuscripts for the upcoming newsletter.

You are also invited to submit the proposal for bringing out and editing the next issue on any topic of current relevance. The 33 issues of the newsletters published so far by the ISSRF are being listed on the society website (www.issrf.org) and any specific issue can be obtained, in PDF format, on request.

3.      The Journal of Reproductive Healthcare and Medicine (JRHM) (ISSN (Print):2768-1106; (Online): 2768-1114) Special Issue: The JRHM (https://jrhm.org/)an official publication of the Society-ISSRF has also been published regularly. All esteemed members of the Society are also requested to contribute towards the success of the JRHM through publication of their valuable research findings/serving on the Editorial Board and/or reviewers etc.

Special issue of the JRHM entitled Reproductive Biomedicine: Translating Research into Clinical Practice and Policy Implementation, as a tribute to Hon’ble Dr. V. P. Kamboj, former Director, CDRI, Lucknow is being edited by, Prof. (Dr.) P. K. Mishra, Scientist F & Head of the Division of Environmental Biotechnology, Genetics, and Molecular Biology at the ICMR-National Institute for Research in Environmental Health (NIREH), Bhopal (E-mail: pkm...@yahoo.co.uk; Mobile: 9479983943). Since articles are published in a regular manner, you can still submit your manuscript for favor of publication to JRHM.

4.      All the recipients of ISSRF-2025 Oration Awards and Young Scientist Awards are requested to submit a full length paper/review article for publication in the Journal of Reproductive Healthcare and Medicine (www.jrhm.org).

  • Preferably, paper should be based on the abstract submitted for award application.
  • Full paper must be submitted before June, 2025.
  • Articles will have complete waiver from Article Processing Charges.

 5.      ISSRF Mid-term Activities-2024 - Following ISSRF Mid-term activities were successfully organized:

  • International Webinar on Recent Advances and Innovations in Reproductive Health (RAIRH) organized by Department of Zoology, Banaras Hindu University with Prof. Radha Chaube, Department of Zoology, BHU, Varanasi as Convener during September 20-21, 2024.
  • National Conference on Technological Advancements in Biomedical Health Research on Adolescents, was organized by Birla Balika Vidyapeeth (BBVP), BITS Campus, Pilani during September 28-29, 2024 with Dr. (Mrs.) M. Kasturi, Principal, BBVP as the Organizing Chairperson.
  • National Webinar on Advancement of Nanotechnology in the Treatment of Reproductive Tract Diseases: A Journey from Bench to Bedside, was organized by Smriti College of Pharmaceutical Education, Indore, on 5th October 2024 with Prof. Neelesh Malviya, Principal, SCOPE as Convener.

 6.      ISSRF-2026 – We have received a formal proposal for organizing/hosting ISSRF-2026 event during February 2026 in the form of an International Conference along with 36th Annual Meeting of the ISSRF from BHU through Prof. Radha Chaube. Accordingly, Prof. Chaube will be requested to proceed in the matter.

 7.      ISSRF-Awards – The last date for receipt of ISSRF Awards is 30th November every year. Dr. V. P. Kamboj Memorial Oration and Young Scientist Awards were introduced w.e.f. ISSRF-2025 event.

 8.      ISSRF Membership: The total number of life members of the Society as on today is 1839. Kindly encourage your colleagues and scholars to become part of the ISSRF family. The membership form can be downloaded from the Society website (www.issrf.org) or obtained from the ISSRF Secretariat.

 9.      ISSRF Website: Our Society website (www.issrf.org) is updated on a regular basis. Kindly intimate any change/update in your address and/or contact details (i.e., Mobile No., E-mail ID, etc.). Also regularly access the website for ISSRF activities and forthcoming events.

10.  Suggestions: Your suggestions for better working of the ISSRF are welcome.
