NEWS: EXTENDED DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION: Octobr 15th, 2025
Due to requests by participants to previous editions, recent updates
about training activities, and recognition by societies and the benefits
for their members, the deadline for abstract submission has been
extended to October 15th to give more people the opportunity to participate.

NEWS: Two training activities have been defined:
1) Tutorial in R on bulk RNA-seq analysis
2) Spatial Transcriptomics Analysis in R
Further activities are in preparation. Training activities will be
reserved for priority participation by conference registrants.

Dear Colleague,

the 20th edition of the annual conference "BBCC2025 Bioinformatics and
Computational Biology" will be held in Naples, Italy, December 1-4, 2025.

Abstracts submission to contribute in the Program is open, deadline for
submission is October 15th, 2025.

Abstracts will be evaluated by members of the Scientific Committee for
acceptance in the final program of the Conference as oral presentations
or posters.
As for past editions of BBCC, post-conference special issues in
peer-reviewed journals are in preparation.
The program, to be completed, includes four confirmed Invited Speakers:

Prof. Barbara Di Camillo – Full Professor of Computer Science,
Department of Information Engineering, University of Padova, Italy.
Preliminary title: From Single Cells to Multicellular Information
Systems Analysis

Prof. Sean Holden – Associate Professor of Computer Science, Department
of Computer Science and Technology, University of Cambridge, UK.
Preliminary title: to be defined

Prof. Yayoi Natsume-Kitatani – Director of the Artificial Intelligence
Center for Health and Biomedical Research, National Institutes of
Biomedical Innovation, Health and Nutrition, Osaka, Japan. Preliminary
title: Data-Driven Approaches to Medical and Omics Data for Advancing
Drug Discovery

Prof. Tomasz Żok – Institute of Computing Science, Poznan University of
Technology, Poznan, Poland. Preliminary title: When bases break the
rules – taming the non-canonical nucleic acids.


Abstracts can be submitted for the follwoing sessions:
