The AICTE Industry Fellowship Programme is an initiative aimed at engaging faculty members as full-time fellows in industry for a minimum period of one (01) year. Through exposure to cutting-edge industrial environments, the programme seeks to equip faculty with contemporary industry insights and enhance their ability to deliver industry-aligned education.
We are pleased to inform you that the portal for the AICTE Industry Fellowship Programme 2026 session is being launched, with 150 fellowship seats available for faculty members across various emerging and core sectors.
The fellowships will be offered in the following broad areas:
- Advanced Materials, Rare Earth & Critical Minerals
- Semiconductors
- Space & Defence
- Blue Economy
- Sustainability & Climate Change
- Advanced Computing (Supercomputing, AI, Quantum Computing)
- Next-Generation Communications
- Smart Cities & Mobility
- Agrotech & Food Processing
- Healthcare & MedTech
- Disaster Management & Resilient Infrastructure
- Manufacturing & Industry 4.0
- Core Engineering Branches (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, etc.)
- Other relevant sectors
The launch event of the AICTE Industry Fellowship Programme 2026 portal is scheduled to be held on 26th May 2026 at 3:00 PM, and will be graced by the Hon’ble Chairman, AICTE.
You are requested to kindly circulate this information among all Faculty Members of your institution and encourage their participation in the programme as well as the launch event.
