Dear Sir/Mam,
I’m writing to invite you to contribute (either alone or with a colleague or post doc or scholar) a book chapter in a collected work provisionally entitled “Machine Learning for Molecular Diagnostics and Therapeutics” edited by Dr. Sudip Mandal, for an edition to be published in the lab protocol series Methods in Molecular Biology (https://www.springer.com/series/7651), published by Springer Protocols.
The tentative area / titles of the Book Chapter are listed in the attached doc file. You may choose or modify your own title in the field of “Machine Learning for Molecular Diagnostics and Therapeutics” as per your research work.
The deadline for submitting your Book Chapter title and abstract is 30st November, 2025.
Acceptance of Book Chapter Abstract: 31st December, 2025
Full chapter should be communicated to me within 28th Feb, 2026.
Acceptance Notification of Full Book Chapter-31st May, 2026
Publication: July, 2026
Chapters tend to average 15-20 typed pages but there is no limit at all on the length of individual chapters, nqor any limitation on the number of figures. Note there are no fees/charges whatsoever for publication.
Please find the attached copy of the Author Instructions for the Series, and a typical chapter. Note that most of these instructions are aimed at lab-based protocol chapters; for non-lab protocol chapters, which will be the case for your book, authors can use whatever format they like but of course refs must be in the correct format and all headings/subheadings numbered accordingly etc, which again is shown in these attachments.
On behalf of the Springer, I am simply asking you to present your routinely used methodology in a basic standard format, rather than writing a more demanding discursive chapter. Please note that all chapters are indexed in PubMed, ISI Web of Knowledge, Science Direct, Scopus and Medline.
I hope very much that you can accept this offer, and look forward to hearing from you. Please confirm if you are interested to contribute by mail as early as possible. If you don’t feel you can contribute I’d welcome any suggestions from you for alternative authors I might approach.
