The utilization of agricultural/forestry "waste" (by-products) and their processing into Biochar/Biocarbon for industrial products such as biocomposite materials and carbon-based bioplastics, thermoplastics, nanostructured fibrous materials and other composites (eg. film and structural materials) will enhance the sustainability of biochar refineries and make them more economically viable.
