P.S. ACORE is the "American Council On Renewable Energy".
ACORE was involved as one of the early contributors to the creation of the "International Biochar Initiative" (IBI).
They have been promoting a variety of Sustainable New Wealth Industries.
Many of their members are convinced that biochar will play a major role in restoring the soils in many areas of the world while increasing the productivity of biomass.
They are dealing with the Six major spokes of the "Biomass wheel", the 6Fs, which include: food, feed, fuel, fibers, fertilizers (including biochar) and feedstocks for chemicals/biobased products.
(They have actually identified 52 spokes in their Biomass Wheel, including also applications that deal with backyard, schoolyard and roof top gardens, wetlands, watersheds, riparian buffers, wildlife habitats, community-based agriculture, restoration of underutilized, misused and contaminated land, etc.)
Their mission is to get the collaboration process underway with the billions of people around the world who are involved, in some direct way, with the spokes in the Biomass Wheel, and that it is in the best interest of the Biochar industry to be part of this process to the extent we believe it will assist in achieving this mission.
