Dear colleagues,

I am trying to build the first model in BioCellion.
I was following the wiki.biocellion steps, but the problem appeared:

ivana@ivana-VirtualBox:~/Documents/BIOCELLION_RELEASE/biocellion/libmodel/model$ make
make: *** No rule to make target 'Documents/BIOCELLION_RELEASE/biocellion/libmodel/interface/interface_config.cpp', needed by 'interface_config.o'.  Stop.

Can somebody help me about the problem?

Thanks in advance for help!

Best regards,

Ivana

Hi Ivana,

Could you tell me a little bit more about the issue you're having? What does your BIOCELLION_ROOT look like in your Makefile.model file?

It seems like it's just a make file/directory path issue.

Also feel free to reach directly: ch...@biocellion.com

Hi Chris,

This is BIOCELLION_ROOT in Makefile.model file:

BIOCELLION_ROOT = /Documents/BIOCELLION_RELEASE/biocellion

Is there any rule where the root has to be specified?

Thanks in advance,
Best regards,
Ivana

Hi Ivana,

That should be correct as is///. Are you running "make" inside the "model" directory? It's set up so the model directory is just a soft link, to already built tutorials. Let me know what your directory paths look like under /biocellion-user/

Thank you for answering,

I think you guessed the problem,
The path inside the biocellion-user Makefile.model is:

BIOCELLION_ROOT = /home/kang697/BIOCELLION/biocellion

What should be there?

Best regards,
Ivana

Hi Ivana,

Are you running Bioceelion on your own virtual machine? If so, you would need to edit your BIOCELLION_ROOT path so it's pointing towards toward the right path. So, edit the BIOCELLION_ROOT to where BIOCELLION directory is. I.e.

"BIOCELLION_ROOT = /home/*YOUR_PWD*/BIOCELLION/biocellion"
