I was thinking to migrate from php (5.1) to php53 (5.3). Is this

I think most of BioCC-hosted mediawiki (including biocc) are based on
mw1.8.2, which does not seem to compatible with php5.3?
Can you make a roll-back position for php?

What's that?
For newer MWs, we have the option of running MW in CGI mode through
something like nginx (with FastCGI) with a custom PHP build (including
FPM)... For the time being I'm just sticking to MW1.16, which works
for php 5.1.
Another option is to deploy virtual servers, but it's too late (in the
evening) to read about that ;-) In general I like the idea though.
