PHP config on cyrah?

I'm seeing the following error while trying to upgrade MW on cyrah:

Fatal: zend.ze1_compatibility_mode is active! This option causes
horrible bugs with MediaWiki; you cannot install or use MediaWiki
unless this option is disabled.

I can turn this of in the ini (I think), but does anyone know why it
is set?

OK, I commented out the line ~100 of /etc/php.ini that enabled
zend.ze1_compatibility_mode...

Check your favourite wikis to see if anything is broken...

By the way, I guess you know that Semin's father passed away

about a week ago. We feel really sad about it.
