Beast MCC tree with x-axis in months

Hi all,

I have an MCC tree generated with BEAST with a temporal scale that only covers a few months. The default x-axis using theme_tree2 shows labels in year fractions, but I would like to include a more meaningful scale in months.

Is there any way to transform the x-axis labels using any ISO date formats or something similar?

Any hint, example or link is welcome.
