I'm writing to you because we have some new open positions in my group at Agilent Laboratories. One is an HCI position and the other an InfoVis researcher. Both of these are in Agilent Labs (our central research lab) and are research positions not commercial development. So the successful candidate will get lots of support for conference travel and participation. Both positions also afford  the opportunity for a relatively self-directed research agenda (relevant to strategic areas of importance to Agilent). If you know of any likely candidates let me know or just have them submit applications on the Agilent website mentioned in the attached postings.

While the HCI req mentions 3-5 years experience, we can be a bit flexible on that for the right person.

A helpful hint is that the person reviewing these applications really wants to see good, well thought out cover letters.
