1. RINGKASAN PEKERJAAN/GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Java Developer will design and develop applications/services for Mobafone. He/she has to develop useful tools for the company's employees to reduce work load, increase productivity, and create profitable products/services for end consumer.
2. RINGKASAN PEKERJAAN TAMBAHAN/OTHER JOB FUNCTION
Essential Job Functions:
1. Design and develop applications based on any required technology, especially SMS/MMS/WAP/WEB, and in any programming language required.
2. Develop Mobile Application based on J2ME or Symbian.
3. Monitoring the system to ensure that all applications are working properly.
4. Create well defined documents for applications/services, including end user manual, technical specifications, etc.
5. Enhance and maintain existing applications.
Non-essential Job Functions:
1. Work together with marketing department to prepare or update services in order to increase customer satisfaction.
2. Work together with content department to keep the services up to date.
3. All other tasks that may be asked from you to strengthen our technical competitiveness, to promote / maintain our corporate image and protect the interest of the company at all times.
3. WORK EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Work experience requirements:
1. At least 2 to 3 year experiences in J2EE/J2SE/J2ME related application/service/product development.
2. Experience in using XMPP Protocol will be an advantage
3. Experience in creating multiplayer game server logic will be an advantage
4. Experience in Spring framework and struts will be an advantage
5. Excellent in Java programming, object-oriented analysis, and design.
6. Excellent in the design and administration of databases, especially MySql.
7. Excellent in SMS/MMS/WEB/WAP technology.
8. Familiar with UNIX and Linux system.
9. Well familiar with the open source project e.g. Jakarta project, Eclipse, MySql, PHP ,Tomcat etc.
10. Good understanding of wireless technologies and enthusiastic to learn new things.
11. Some experience in Wireless, Cellular, Multi-Player Online Gaming, Telecommunication and/or VAS industry will be an advantage.
12. Good commands in English oral and written
Education Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Computer science or any relate fields.
