A concept which started out as a fun project was what really drew international audiences to Quick Style. Strawhatz allows for the blending of different cultures into urban dance to create a unique style with both fusion visuals and sound.[9][10]
A 5-part documentary-based travel series presented by Quick Style filmed by director/filmmaker Christian Bastiansen. It takes the viewer on a journey through 5 different cities in China through the eyes of Bilal, Suleman and Nasir (Quick Style). It covers dance, travel, cultural experiences and interactions, and also gives an insight into the personalities of all three members. In these episodes, they also dance free-style to music by the Shanghai Restoration Project [1].
Quick Style, of newfound social media fame, is a Norwegian dance group founded in 2006 by Pakistani-Norwegian twin brothers, Suleman Malik and Bilal Malik, and their Thai-Norwegian childhood friend, Nasir Sirikhan. They go by thequickstyle on Instagram, where snippets of a wedding party performance first saw the light of day before exploding on the Internet.
However, it was only earlier this year that a video of them dancing at a wedding went viral. A grinning, swaggering big group of them danced with extreme precision to a medley of songs that varied from hit Bollywood numbers to singles from CS.
Trending News: Not long ago, a Norwegian all-men dance crew named Quick Style went crazy viral on social media for their killer Bollywood dance performance at a wedding. The dance group posted bits of the performance on Instagram. The first reel, Kala Chashma, turned them into a viral sensation and even made headlines. When CT arrived at the 25hour hotel to catch up with the group, seven of its members including Bilal, Suleman, Nasir, Yasin, Dilen, Rafa and David as well as their manager Usman are sitting around a table in the lobby with their laptops. While some are checking flights, others are pursuing prospective business deals. They chat away in Norwegian about plans and meetings. Ever since their dance at Suleman's wedding went viral, with even YouTube itself commenting on it, the group has been at its busiest.
I think that about covers it. I would do a slowish kind of lazy waltz. You can move a lot, but keep it more shifting weight on the one and three. Trying to hit all beats would be too fast and not fit the song. Country western dancers and Mexican dancers do this well. Just think waltz, but feel the music, with a little bit of viennese posture, but not the triple tempo. hard to put into words, but feel the music on this and it will come easy and should be quite romantic and beautiful for a wedding.

I am a begginer and i will have my wedding next year and we want to dance on Soldier by gavin degraw ( =OfHUBcevBn0) and at first i really thought its a waltz but then someone has told me its blues. can you explain me which one is correct and why? for me it seems at counting as a waltz and im quite confused. Hi I am getting ready for my wedding. The only dance we both know is the rumba which is perfect. However, we only know older songs and wondering if you know 5 current song that is a rumba. I have trouble finding songs and identifying the beat. Could you help me?
If either of those feels like too fast/too much stepping (Hustle is 8 steps every 8 beats; Cha Cha is 10), you could dance Rumba. Traditional Rumba is a slower Latin dance, but it works great for pop songs just danced casually without all the Latin technique.

This song is a little too fast for some dances and a little slow for others. If you wanted to do an official dance style, you could do Foxtrot patterns that use a Slow-Slow-Quick-Quick rhythm. As a beginner, you will need a good-sized dance floor to do this with ease (minimum 14 x 16).
Alternatively, a simple side-tap basic would work great. Then build moves off of that (i.e. not an official dance style, just pulling inspiration from other dances making it fit the speed & feel of this song).
