Hi all,

Here's the mess of information promised to all of you at tonight's meeting:
Reminders:
   *For those who signed up to write EMO Zine Articles, please email them to e...@binghamtonsa.org by Sunday (10/7) night
   *We will be having a meeting Monday, Oct 18th, at 6pm in the EMO Office to edit EMO Zine, address planning for March 18th and the movie screening

Meeting Notes 10/4
1. Parents' Weekend tabling (Saturday 10/27 9 am- 3 pm)
2. NYSR Times needs to set up a meeting & committee-- NYSR Times need to be printable by Monday before rally (10/15)
3. EMO Zine Progress/ cover... discuss each person's article/outline, printing-- 200
4. Movie Screening (next Thursday, 7:45 pm, LH 10) -- canvassing:
    Mon- Kaan, Manahidy noon
    Tues- Andy, Toivo 11:30~
    Wed- Julia, Manahidy, Andy noon
5. Meet MONDAY for EMO Zine editing, planning for film screening, Oct 18th
    6 pm October 8th in the EMO Office

8. School of Americas Watch information:

Hey Guys, 

I just want to thank you all for your interest in the Killer Coke campaign and the upcoming School of the Americas Vigil. So as promised here are a few details about the event. I am going to email Jack Gilroy, the contact for the Broome County Peace Action Committee for further information. As soon as he responds I will give you guys any updates. The vigil will be taking place in Columbus, Georgia from November 16th to the 18th. Here is a list of events: 

Friday, Nov 16:
Rally to Close the Stewart Detention Center, starting 10am in Lumpkin, Georgia.

-          Workshops starting in the afternoon at the Columbus Convention Center.

Saturday, Nov 17:

-          Energetic Rally at the Gates of Fort Benning from 11am-4pm.

-          Workshops, caucuses and concerts continue in the evening at the Convention Center.

Sunday, Nov 18:

-          Veterans' march to the gates, 8am.

-          Solemn Funeral Procession with the names of the victims.


We will be getting to Columbus in time for the workshops at the Convention Center. If you guys are serious about going, please respond back to the email so that I can give Jack a set number of people who will be going.
