Survey of Professional forecasters

Hi,

 

The RBI has released the results of the 12th survey of professional forecasters and some of the key inputs that may be interest are

a. median real GDP estimated at 8.4 %  in 2010-11 and at 8.5 % over long term ( 5 years)

b. median M3 growth estimated at  17.9 % in 2010-11  
c. WPI inflation ( median ) for 2010-11 estimated at 10.4 %

 

and the most relevant ( and important) of all...

 

d. WPI inflation ( median ) for next five years is estimated at 6 % and CPI ( IW) is estimated at 7%. Over ten years, WPI inflation is forecast at 5% and CPI (IW) at 6.5%
