You promised a place of beauty.
Time for a change.

You wanted to buy our land.
You wanted to destroy our homes.
You wanted to evict us.
Then you changed.

Our hopes diminished.
Our lives were challenged.
We felt dismayed.
What changed?

We banded together.
We grouped our efforts.
We fought back the onslaught.
We won't be changed.

Legal battles ensued.
Court was lengthy.
Time has not healed our wounds.
They wanted you to change.

Your focus was redirected.
Another State for you to attack.
We didn't let down our guard.
Because you changed.

Your efforts are failing.
Your money is drying up.
Please go away.
It will never change.
