Let's face it, it is extremely unlikely that any digital experience is going to ever be able to replicate the feel of a pencil or a pen gliding across a piece of paper. The joy that we all feel when using our favourite combinations are unlikely to ever be matched by glass and plastic. But that's not what this product is about.
Lastly, does anyone have a list of keystrokes (i think thats the right phrase) for using the apple pencil in evernote? I cant seem to back space with the pencil, so i have to pull up the keyboard. Any links to pencil usage would be valuable. Thanks very much

If your scribble experience is better, you can use it to write into an EN note. Just place the pencil, start writing, and the handwriting is converted as go go. When the text appears, the handwriting is erased. For the gestures there is a little training program in iOS settings, Apple Pencil where you activate Scribble.
EDIT: I'm more interested in handling these 2 different types of touches (i.e. when the there's a finger touch event, I want to do some action A. If it's pencil, I want to do action B). Which methods do I even override to achieve this segregation?
The gesture recognizer distinguishes between the touch types by setting the allowedTouchTypes property to UITouch.TouchType.pencil when tracking Apple Pencil touches, and to UITouch.TouchType.direct when tracking touches from a finger.
Apple's documentation says, "A touch object originating from Apple Pencil contains additional information, including the azimuth and altitude of Apple Pencil and the amount of force recorded at its tip." However, checking (touch.altitudeAngle > 0) didn't work for me because some finger touches also have an angle set. I tried (touch.majorRadiusTolerance == 0) and that seemed reliable. Then I realized we can simply check (touch.type == .pencil).

I had the same issue. I found that if took the iPad out of the case, I could better snap the pencil holder back in (all four clips). Snapping it back on with the iPad in the case was next to impossible. It's worked well so far! Hope it will work for you as well.

Give yourself the look of an instant eye lift by drawing a clean line along the base of your brow, define with hair-like strokes and blend with spoolie to distribute color throughout brows.
