Miss Nerva's Stuffed Ham Steak

Yield: 2 Servings
1 ea Ham steak 3/4" thick
1/4 c Apple peeled cored & diced 1/4"
2 tb Onion minced
1/4 c Cornbread crumbs dry
2 tb Butter
1 tb Honey
Mix together honey & bread crumbs.
Cook onions in 1/2 of your butter until they are transluscent.
Remove from heat.
Cut a slit along 1 side almost completely through it.
Pan fry ham steak.
Remove ham steak from heat when browned.
Mix remaining butter, onions, & honey mixture together.
Stuff into pocket in ham steak & serve.
