Downhome Chicken-Fried Steak
Categories: Beef, USA, Dixie, Southern, Main dish
Yield: 6 servings
2 c All-purpose flour
Salt-free herb seasoning to taste
Salt & black pepper to taste
2 ea Eggs beaten
2 lb Veal cutlets
1/4 c Peanut oil
In a shallow bowl, combine flour, herb seasoning, salt & pepper.
In another bowl, place beaten eggs.
Coat each veal cutlet with flour mixture then dip into egg then back
into flour mixture.
Heat oil in a large cast iron skillet over med-high heat.
Place veal cutlets into hot oil.
Cook until browned on each side.
