Arielle's Apple-Ginger

1 ea Orange

ea Limes
1 1/2 lb Granny Smith apples
1 1/2 lb Fresh ginger root
1 1/4
c Water
3 1/2 c Sugar
Seed unpeeled
orange & limes then chop to mince.
Pare apples then core.
Peel ginger
then coarsely chop apples & ginger.
Bring orange, limes, apples, ginger
& water to a boil.
Cover the n simmer for 35-40 mies. until
tender.
Add sugar then stir until dissolved.
Bring to a boil then reduce
heat to boil gently for 50-60 mins. uncovered while stirring often until
thick.
Pack in containers then store in
freezer.
