Welcome to another article in my ongoing series about increasing sales for your home business.
Here are 10 tips that will definitely help you to explode your orders:
1. Persuade visitors to link to your home business website by giving them a freebie in exchange for their link. It could be content, software, free service, etc.
2. Link to websites that provide useful information or services for your visitors. If you have many useful links on your site, they may make it their start page.
3. Spice up your website's wording using plenty of adjectives. It gives your visitors a clearer vision of what you are explaining or describing to them.
4. If you use banner ads for marketing, don't make your banner ads look like ads. Most people ignore banner ads. Design them to look like content and have them click to read the rest.
5. Join affiliate programs that are related to the theme of your home business website. Your visitors will have little or no interest in affiliate programs that are not related to what they are looking for.
6. Market your website as a "free club" instead of a website. People enjoy belonging to groups. This will increase your repeat visitors and sales.
7. Interact with your online customers on a regular basis by setting up a forum or chat room. This will show them you care about them.
8. Check your website links on a regular basis to make sure they still work. After people click on one link, and it doesn't work, they usually won't bother wasting their time clicking on another one. They'll just go to another site where all the links do work.
9. Give visitors a positive experience when they're at your home business website. Provide them with original content and free stuff. They'll tell all of their friends about it.
10. Share customers with other businesses that have the same target audience. Offer their product to your customers if, in exchange, they do the same for you.

Welcome to another segment of my ongoing series presenting home business ideas and tips. In this article are 10 ideas to help you increase sales and profits for your home business:
1. If you don't have a website for your home business, create one! A website is an extremely important part of your internet marketing strategy.
2. Your home business website should be a targeted resource center, full of all sorts of useful information for your target market. Choose one subject and build on it. You will gain repeat visitors that are interested in that topic. If you sell more than one class of product, build a targeted site for each different class of product.
2. Add a forum to your home business website. People love to interact with other people that have the same interests. Make sure to participate yourself as an 'expert' who can answer some of the questions being asked.
3. Want to increase your search engine rankings? Entice people to link to your home business website by giving them something free in return.
4. Trigger your reader's emotions in your ad copy. For example, if you sell a book on weight loss, tell them the feelings they'll get when they lose a lot of weight.
5. Ensure that your site looks good in all browsers and at all screen resolutions. You could be losing sales because it looks distorted in some web browsers or on smaller screens. Also, don't use too many large graphics - there are many internet users who still use dialup access. A slow-loading website is a sure way to lose sales.
6. More and more people are using cell phones to browse the internet these days. Create a mobile version of your home business website for these users.
7. Increase your sales by emailing full page ads to your ezine subscribers. Remember to tell people before they subscribe or they may consider it spam.
8. Ask people questions in your ad copy that make them think about their problems. For example: Do you want to be free of your debts?
9. Magnify the size of your prospects problem in your ad; show how your product can solve it. The bigger the problem, the more sales you will have. Focus on benefits and solutions rather than hype.
10. Always invest a percentage of your profits right back into your home business. Set a target percentage up front, and stick to it. Spend it on marketing, product improvement, customer service, advertising, outsourcing - basically anything that can improve your home business.
