How time flies! I still clearly remember 6 months ago, we together, as
a team started our term to serve clubs/members in Division B. And now,
many of you are approaching the end of the term. I would send my
appreciation to you for your service to your fellow members. Thanks.


I know your club has already elected new officers. Congratulations to
the new team! Pls make sure submit the new officers list before
12/31/2012. (Bad news is TI's IT system is in maintenance now. Pls
consult your Area Governor for details).


Now, all of us, current Division Officers and club officers, need to
consider an important topic: How to help new officers become a
qualified/better ones?


Firstly, sharing your own experience with your sucessor is definitely
the most important one. Only you can pass your club's core value and
unique culture to them by holding a 1:1 afternoon tea or new&old joint
officer meeting. Let them know the current status, help them make a
plan for next 6 months, remind them whenever necessary in the next
term. For sure, don't forget to send them CLH(Club Leadership Handbook
http://www.toastmasters.org/Members/OfficerResources/ClubOfficerResources.aspx).


Secondly, besides your coaching, Division B will also provide a club
officer training which is similar with the one you taken 5 months ago.
During the whole session,
1. Each officer would receive a designed training for his/her role
only from current experienced officer.
2. Current President of H&M Toastmasters Club, 3rd place of
International Speech Contest in 2012 - Sherman Wang, will deliver a
keynote speech to share his thoughts.
3. Special VPPR program in Beijing


Though minimum 4 new officers are required for your club's DCP
program, I would strongly encourage all of your new officers could
join this big event.
Time: afternoon on 1/13/2012(Sun.)
Venue:Wangjing Moto Campus.
