My question is very simple. Why isn't the Rig Manager available for Android devices? Why? There are so many many people using Android devices. Do you really have to buy Apple or Microsoft devices? That's shit!!! Nothing against Apple or Microsoft but that's complete crap.

This question has been asked before, and I totally get it, I am an Android user myself. The trouble is, it needs a significant development effort and Kemper's minds may be currently otherwise employed - they probably built the iOS app with the iPad in mind, not so much the iPhone, and there is a big install base for that. Also, the Apple eco-system is a closed system so is more predictable (in some ways - though Apple do have a habit of surprising people).

I am sure it's possible to develop using tools that will create apps for both, but they clearly didn't do that, maybe the graphics are hard to replicate using tools that do both, I don't know. But don't expect this anytime soon, I'm afraid.

This question comes up from time to time. It's a decision Kemper took and said from the very beginning that they weren't going to support Android. They've given no official reason and I'd bet never will.

If you look at OS versions.....Android has 4 or 5 different ones all with 10% or more of a share. Add that individual device makers frequently modify Android to suit them - making app support more difficult.

OT maybe. But i succeeded to install W11 on 2 old PC's. Microsoft looks into the hardware now like Apple. And they say every processor older than 4 years is unable to run W11. B.S. Download Rufus. Rufus Download the W11 ISO from the Microsoft site. Take an empty 8 GB USB stick. Rufus turns the USB stick into an install medium for W11. Rufus skips the hardware checks of MS. Remember in 2025 MS will stop releasing security updates for W10.

Please make an Android app. Just a freaking phone app. Android is literally the most ubiquitous operating system on the planet. Not every professional uses Apple products. I'm a professional I prefer Android phones and I'm not going to buy an iPhone simply to run my stage. Pretty please with sugar on top?i

I'm software developer and as a hobby I 'm developing an android app similar to iPad app, I'm so glad with Kemper Stage and editor for mac but I need a tool for my life gigs and I only have an android phone, so a couple a months ago I decided to develop a simple one ...... hope a beta will be ready for January 2024...

Rufus for Android is an open-source and lightweight utility program that you can use to create or format a bootable USB drive. Using this tool, you can also work on a system without an operating system.

You can now install Windows or run low-level utility applications using the bootable USB created with Rufus for Android without root. Alternatively, you can download Rufus APK on your Windows, Linux or Mac PC and proceed with the steps.

Given that, you must consider a Rufus alternative for Android. The best alternative that you can use is PassFab 4WinKey (Android). This comprehensive tool allows you to create bootable usb from android without PC. All you need to do is install this app, connect a USB drive and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Yes, Rufus for Android is totally free, and you can download it easily from the Google Play Store. It is a handy tool for creating Windows installation media and burning boot instructions on a flash drive. To use this tool, you do not need access to a PC.

Although many people use Rufus software for Android, which seems 100% safe, it is an unofficial application. It is not owned by the actual developers of Rufus software, making it a bit unreliable regarding safety and security. Therefore, we do not recommend that you use such software. However, if you do, use it at your own risk or use a better alternative like PassFab 4WinKey that ensures security and technical support.

Rufus for Android is a utility that you can use to create a bootable USB to install Windows, flash a BIOS or other firmware from DOS or run a low-level utility application on your system. It is free and open-source, which makes it usable for everyone. The only drawback of Rufus software for Android is that it is not an official application and does not guarantee safety and security, meaning that it will not be responsible if you face any problem or loss.

Therefore, we have introduced a better Rufus alternative for Android in this article, i.e. PassFab 4WinKey (Android). This Android app lets you quickly create a bootable USB and recover Windows forgotten passwords without rooting.

I'm trying to install Android-x86 on USB for my new HP laptop. I have followed the instructions on Android-x86.org. My issue is that after the initial install, it never boots again, it just gets stuck on the Android logo.

when you change the internal frame where the UEFI firmware settings to the EFI framework setting change the boot order you have to make a small partition for grub go back and change it back otherwise it won't boot the second time

but I'm stuck in the fact when I click on create/modify on this, I get cgdisk not cfdisk, and it's not as easy to use. I don't know why this is happening. Before I realised what to do, I was accessing cfdisk, but now it's only cgdisk.

I've found something that might help you. I recently installed androidx86-9.0-rc1 as a dual boot (unlike you), and I too faced this same problem that it booted for the first time just fine but gets stuck in subsequent boots.

So I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it to see what's wrong and what I found that when I am on Windows and if I try to switch to already-installed androidx86 [by choosing restart option in Windows/by entering BIOS from Windows and then booting to androidx86], it gets stuck [and gets stuck in subsequent times too, once you did such].

Supposedly you're on Windows, and say you want to switch to androidx86 [newly re-installed, not the one that got stuck], so don't restart Windows; just shut down the PC and power it on to boot to androidx86. Just note that this is my observation only for the dual-boot case,

Marino, no google havent removed it from oreo. im running oreo on my nvidia shield's and the home button/ close tasks functionality still works. I'm also running Oreo on my phoneand can close tasks on that too using the home button. the issue is with Sony's build of oreo.

Google took it away... and Android TV is different than Android for mobile. The standard android mobile task manager btw is still present (there is a complex workaround via button mapper app to run it) but it is really of no use

Looking for insight if anyone can help. I have a HK1 TV box. I have checked the hardware using Aida64. I have a S905x3 4gb Ram. I have properly followed instructions on the EmuElec page. I downloaded the EmuELEC-Amlogic-ng.aarch64-4.2-Generic.img.gz version and flashed it to a clean 256gb Sandisk SD card using Rufus. I have tried both the sm1_s905x3_4gb.dtb and sm1_s905x3_4gb_1gbit.dtb.

I have tried booting EmuElec using the Android Terminal, the Reboot to Libreelec, and the reset button, but every time the HK1 reboots to the android system boot screen. I am wondering if it could be a firmware problem, but have found no information on HK1 firmware, or were to find a firmware version that works with EmuElec. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

In CoreELEC forum, I read one post about S905X3 device no boot to CoreELEC on microSD card. The author finally resolved the problem by flashing certain official firmware. It seems some TV box are shipped with firmware not allowing boot from microSD or USB.

I am in the same boat as this person, with the Sofobod HK1. The device came rooted, so is it correct to assume that if it will not boot off the SD card then it must be an issue with either the SD card I am using or the image?

So for me, I did manage to get this working by using a patriot 64gb usb flash drive, and putting it in the USB port on the side of the device, as opposed to the corner. Curious if the ability to boot from SD card, or USB ports is set in the firmware, or if its viewable in hwinfo.

It is set by the firmware installed, and unfortunately there is no way of telling that I know of. That is why some people have needed to re-flash older versions of the FW for their boxes, there is nothing we can do to change that.

First, name lookups typically are unencrypted. If your Internet provider isdoing packet sniffing then they can look inside your requests and infer whereyou are visiting. Even if you only visit secure https websites, your namelookups will reveal your activity.

Those resources can be accessed only if you are connected to my home network. Those DNS names (like wiki.chez-rufus.lan) are resolved by the name server on my home network and are not known in the global DNS.
