Ibrushed some balsamic vinegar on eggplant and yellow squash, and seasoned with a pinch of sea salt & oregano, and set it under the broiler for 8-10 minutes (flipping half-way through). Then I layered that into my wrap with tomato, avocado and mozzarella cheese, and pressed it down on both sides in a skillet until browned on both sides. I paired it with a side of grapes, and Pretzel Crisps and I had a complete lunch. Simple, easy and delicious!
Finally, I saved the best for last. I love hummus, so I went with the Red Pepper Hummus wrap last and spread it with a Laughing Cow Creamy Swiss wedge, slices of cucumber and sprinkled my favorite seasoning of the moment from Trader Joes, 21 Seasoning Salute.
Normally I would spread hummus on my wraps, but since the wrap is already hummus flavored I decided to go with something that complimented the flavors well. Cool and refreshing lunch to pack for work, and super easy!
In addition to their new line of ProteinUP flatoutbreads, Flatout also offers 5 different types of flatbreads which come in a variety flavors and sizes. Out of everything I have tried from them, these are by far my favorite of their line and are going to be a staple in my diet regularly. The texture, flavor and protein boost make this product worth the investment! You can find these at your local grocery store (check out their store locator), or place an order directly off their website.
It seems that no matter how low-key I try to keep the holidays, life always ends up becoming a little bit hectic this time of year. Putting healthy and delicious meals together can be a particular challenge with so many other things to do.
With the whole family home during the holidays, I like to make meals more special for everyone. Flatout Flatbread takes things up a notch, providing an easy, healthy and tasty alternative to boring sandwich bread. Flatout also works great as a pizza crust, or as a substitute for tortilla wraps.
I have purchased Flatout in the past, and really liked the product, so I was happy to test and review their latest offerings. I received several variations of their standard wraps, including Original, Light, Multi-Grain and Italian Herb.
I put Flatout Rosemary & Olive Oil Foldits to the test for a quick lunch on Christmas Eve. I topped one with a little mayonnaise, sliced ham, smoked cheddar, sliced pears and dijon mustard. Yum! What an improvement over boring old bread, and a nice treat on a busy day.
Why choose Flatout instead of regular bread or wraps? Flatout breads are low-fat, low-calorie, and high in good sources of fiber. Flatout contains healthy, quality ingredients in their wide variety of products, like whole grains, veggies, flax, and savory herbs.
In a bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, brown sugar and vanilla until thoroughly combined. Carefully pour over each roll until muffin cup is just about full, but not to the top. For best results, cover and refrigerate overnight, or you may bake immediately.
Bake: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake uncovered for 40 minutes. Cover with foil if tops begin to brown too much (I did so after 20 minutes). Allow to rest for 5 minutes, then remove from muffin tin and serve warm, drizzled with maple syrup.

JOHN: I love all things Australia. When I was a young sailor traveling in the Navy, it was my favorite place to go and I was lucky to get to explore many places there. Last year, as I was following the Dead Cow Gully Backyard Ultra, my love for Australia and its trail scene really reignited.
I was lucky enough to review the Tarkine Trail Devil trail after the Dead Cow Gully last year, so I really got to go all in on the trail running vibe from Australia. In my humble opinion, Australia is an already crazy cool place but now it legitimately may also have the best trail running scene.
ALEX: I anticipated from the beginning that this shoe would be heavy just by how intense the mid and outsole looked in images, which was confirmed once I had it in hand and on foot. While on the trails themselves I was much more occupied with how well they handled and gripped roots, rocks and mud, most of my trail runs consist of a mile or so or roads to get there. Especially on the return trip, I felt like I was exerting a lot of effort to keep these babies moving, fully admitting the Hardloop seems born and bred exclusively for trails. Similar to the team, my front foot and toes got a bit beat up towards the end of the run.
Remember when most game releases were Oct-Dec and the rest of the year was sprinkled with a lot of junk and very few hits? Well, it's 2017 and boy oh boy how times have changed. We've been absolutely bombarded with AAA releases, indie gems, but stuck somewhere in the middle are games like FLATOUT 4: TOTAL INSANITY that just don't seem to get much press or attention compared to other titles. Sometimes rightfully so but other times, a complete injustice to a solid title that's worth playing, it's just hard to keep up these days.
The FLATOUT series has never taken itself seriously and it doesn't need to. The fourth entry adds more of the same type stunts, races, derbies, and pure.. well, Total Insanity that fits the usually bill but adds just enough polish and fun to make it worth while. Realistic driving sim it's not but where in lacks in simulation, it makes up in spades as you crash, bash, smash, and wreck your way through a ton of nitro filled insanity. It's a total hoot.
While not the best looking racing/derby game out there, TOTAL INSANITY is still quite the looker that rocks in 4K @ 60 FPS no problem. Car models are detailed to an ok level but what really shines are the effects and most of all, blasting through a level while punching the nitro. It's sports a super effective sense of rush and speed that few racing games actually deliver.
Sound is solid but a mixed bag of voice acting and a choice of tunes that range from sweet to absolutely grating. Feels like a good effort but could have used a wider variety of artists to not become too dull.
Look, I'm a grumpy old gamer that could nitpick this game to death but guess what? It's an absolute blast to play, loaded with a ton of content, and it's all for a fair price at $39. So, if you want to race and crash your way for a weekend worth of fun or even more with multiplayer, give this game a whirl. There are a ton of games out there to play currently but this little gem deserves your attention. It's nothing absolutely revolutionary but it's way, way more fun than I ever wanted to admit.

The Disney Afternoon Collection takes six of these little beauties and slaps them all in one download, along with some screen filtering options, a boss rush mode and a few behind-the-scenes illustrations.
Its only issue is both its control systems, most notably when you get further into the game and reach larger puzzles. The grid eventually gets too small to accurately use the stylus, while using buttons can be a bit of a slow affair.
The FlatOut series has had its ups and downs. The first two games were generally well-loved by players and critics alike, but then the series was taken away from developer Bugbear Entertainment and handed to Dutch studio Team6 instead.
In order that I could write the above reviews, I received copies of each game from their respective PRs. The content of my review and the opinions therein were in no way positively influenced by this.
