From Haiti to Italy, from Kenya to Central America, thousands of young people are walking to build a peace economy. They are crossing public squares, villages, cities, and wounded territories to reach places where a new kind of economy is already taking root. Step by step, they are drawing a living, global map of hope.
All of this will converge in Castel Gandolfo, November 28–30, 2025, for 'Restarting the Economy,' the global gathering led by the young people who are its true protagonists. Three days of dialogue, vision, and concrete commitments to reimagine the economy as a tool for reconciliation, inclusion, and justice.

⚙️ What will happen in Castel Gandolfo?
It will be a living lab, where young people from contexts of war, inequality, and transition will share how peace can be generated through enterprise, ethical finance, land regeneration, and innovation serving human dignity. They will be joined by leading thinkers and economists including Jennifer Nedelsky, Paolo Benanti, Stefano Zamagni, Jeffrey Sachs, Gaël Giraud, Yvan Sagnet, Helen Alford, Massimo Mercati, and Alessandra Smerilli and many others.

🌍 Extraordinary Ideas from Around the World
This year, we also put out a call for ideas — and the response has been extraordinary!!! We received nearly 200 applications from more than 30 countries worldwide, spanning three key areas:
- Extraordinary Entrepreneurial Ideas: innovative business projects, startups, and initiatives with strong social impact, ready to scale and inspire.
- Extraordinary Changemaking Ideas: grassroots projects and community initiatives challenging the status quo and building justice, care, and dignity.
- Extraordinary Scholarly Ideas: bold research contributions — from master’s theses to postdoctoral work — rethinking economic paradigms and imagining alternatives for peace, sustainability, and human flourishing.
These selected ideas will have a dedicated space at Castel Gandolfo, where participants will discover and engage with some of the most promising entrepreneurial, social, and academic innovations inspired by the EoF spirit.
