Hey guys,
How is everything going?
Do you miss the ride we had last time?
If so, let's hit the road today!
Below is the information about the first activity for this semester.
If you have seen this already on the CFAPSU mail list, please ignore the following.
Event:
Ride on the bike paths around the State College area and get familiar with our neighborhood.
Time & Place:
4:30 pm, Sep 13 ( today ), gather at the north entrance of Pattee Library ( on Curtin Rd ). Please be on time.
What to bring:
A functional bike. Mountain bike or road bike or BMX are all welcome!
Wear a helmet. It is required by law. If you don't have one, it's also ok, since we will mainly be riding on bike paths away from motor traffics.
A bottle of water and some snacks.
What to expect:

It is about 13 miles, and it takes approx. 2 hours to finish with moderate speed. Mostly we will be riding on bike paths, and they are all paved. The route has some rises and falls, so be prepared mentally and physically.
But don't get scared! It is a slow-paced and casual ride.

Please email me with your name, cell phone number ( if any, in case you get lost), and address ( Do not need to be detailed, just say something like Parkway Plaza or Vairo Village. I can point you the direction home if you want to leave early ).
