Hello!
It's that time of year again, the 2011 Tour de Belt registration has opened - and WE WANT YOU !
We had a great deal of fun at last year’s event, and we hope you did too! This year promises to be an even bigger
and better event. We're very excited that in addition to many of the sponsors that joined us last year who are
returning to help raise money for the trail and to support the riders, we are welcoming two new sponsors, Sheetz and
DogFish Head Brewing, to our event!
Sheetz will be handing out coffee from their coffee truck at the starting line, as people gather, register and
have their bikes tuned up by the crews from World Cup Ski & Cycle and Pedal Pusher. Riders will see the Sheetz
volunteers again at the 2nd rest stop where they will be handing out smoothies! DogFish Head Brewing has donated a
STYLIN' bike jersey to the prize package for our top fundraisers.
So while our favorites are back, we're making new friends too! We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, June 5th, 2011
at the main campus of Harrisburg Area Community College. Save yourself $10 and get an earlier start time,

Remember that the fees you pay for the Tour de Belt go to help the all-volunteer Capital Area Greenbelt
Association (CAGA) maintain and preserve the beautiful 20+ mile trail around Harrisburg. For the past 20 years, the
Association has been paving and improving trail sections, mowing the grass and trimming weeds and overgrowth
along the trail, and tending the flowers and bushes at the Five Senses Gardens. The Greenbelt is a wonderful
community resource that needs to be preserved for future generations. If you enjoy riding on the trail, please
considering becoming a member of the Association, or volunteering to help keep up the trail. For
