Hey all,
I'm offering Traffic Skills 101 at In Gear Cycling and Fitness in
Hummelstown on May 21-22.
This is a 9 hour class that covers everything you need to safely ride
on the road in a fast-paced, experiential format. The class includes
classroom instruction, practice drills in a parking lot, and an on-
road ride to put our skills to use.
Even if you've been riding for years, this class can be useful to
reinforce good technique or pick up some new tips.
Plus, if you've ever considered become a League Cycling Instructor
yourself, TS 101 is the prerequisite to getting that certification.
We are offering the class for $10. This is SUPER LOW for 9 hours! The
class typically runds $30-50 a person. The bulk of the class is being
funded by a mini-grant from the Department of Health. The $10 is more
of a reservation fee to ensure that you are committed to coming. All
proceeds are being rolled into future bicycle education programming
after the grant has expired.
Registration is here:

I hope that some of you can make it!
I'm also looking for prospective locations on the West Shore to offer
this class. Does anyone have any leads. We need a room capable of
holding a small group, plus a parking lot where we can practice drills
before the on-road ride.
Spread the word!
