Weekend ride to Bondsi-Nimbu ashram, 23 June 2012

Guys, 

The weekend is here and given the slice of time in the morning we plan to ride up to the so-called Nimbu ashram near Bhondsi, off the Sohna highway. This is the same site where some PYs witnessed a huge number of fluorescent-yellow frogs last year.

We will start from Merc Chowk, and ride towards Sohna. Once on Sohna Rd we turn right towards BSF camp/ Bhondsi Ashram perimeter and take a detour from the top to reach Nimbu Ashram. 

The ride will be a road ride till the Bhondsi Ashram, but, the last leg will have a trail section. We should be back by 8 am as this is a relatively short route, however, please come equipped with the regular bike accs. (Hydration, Nutrition, Puncture-Tools, Spares etc.)

TIP for the ride: Adjust to heat and humidity. Carry and drink a lot of fluids to avoid heat stress, like nimbu-paani.
