Ringwood Bridge, Bikes on BART and Website Updates

The new bicycle/pedestrian bike over 101 in Menlo Park is now open.
This replaces an older bridge which had to be removed to allow for
widening of 101. Pictures of the new bridge are at www.bikesmc.org.
One concern is the bridge exits into the streets not directly at an
intersection and at least for now there are no stop signs or other
signage to warn motorists and bicyclists of this conflict.
Bikes on BART. BART has released a new draft bicycle plan. Details and
links are at www.bikesmc.org. The consultants working on this project
have asked us to review and comment on this draft. Their request and
specific items relating to San Mateo County are at www.bikesmc.org.
The SFBC sponsored BIKESONboard team is also working with BART on this
and requests your input. Again see www.bikesmc.org for links on their
efforts.
